This character was created with an unconventional process. Usually Game Design and Art Direction drives the brief and vision for the character. In this case the team picked one of my many warmup sketches to create a character from. That made the process of finalizing the character concept very fast as I had a strong vision from the sketch and could drive it autonomously.
